Our Staff

Dr Boniface Ochayi

MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Dermatology

Dr Boniface Ochayi has over 20 years of experience as a GP and has practised in Canberra over the past 6 years.

His areas of interest include chronic disease management, dermatological conditions including skin cancer medicine, minor surgical procedures, men’s health and mental health. Other areas of interest include travel medicine and occupational health such as work related injuries and worker’s compensation claims.

He is passionate about connecting with people, loves soccer and keeping in touch with global events.

Dr Patrick Ajulo

MBBS, MRCS, DOHNS, MRCGP, FRACGP

Dr Patrick Ajulo graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and completed his postgraduate training in the UK. He has practised as a General Practitioner for over three decades has worked within the Canberra community over the past 10 years.

His immense wealth of experience cuts across several leadership roles, clinical governance, administration & management, GP education and Emergency Medicine.

Dr Ajulo provides a dedicated GP service for Ear, Nose & Throat presentations. He also maintains a passion for all aspects of Family Practice including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Paediatrics & Minor Surgery.

Away from work, he enjoys long walks and spending time with his family.

Dr. Dr Inalegwu Oono

 

MBBS, FRACGPMBBS, MPH (Hons.), PhD (Public Health), MRCGP

Dr Oono graduated from the University of Jos and proceeded to gain his postgraduate training in GP in the UK where he worked for 3 years before joining Macquarie General Practice.

Dr Oono has keen interest in Public Health and prevention of diseases, and has postgraduate training (MSc and PhD) in Public Health. Dr Oono has conducted research into the effectiveness of parent-mediated early intervention for children with autism (a Cochrane systematic review and metanalysis). He also explored the relationship between passive exposure to cigarette smoke and the risk for health conditions like stroke, a publication that was cited in the US Surgeon General’s report titled “50 years of progress”. Dr Oono is a commonwealth scholar who was awarded the prestigious commonwealth scholarship to investigate important drivers of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria.

Dr Oono is passionate about charitable activities, and loves to engage in processes that contribute positively to community building.
