Our Neurodiversity Clinic is led by a GP with a special interest in ADHD, autism, and the broader needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families.
Whether you are seeking an assessment, ongoing support, or simply a doctor who “gets it,” we provide a welcoming, and friendly service that is tailored to your unique needs.
Who we see
Our clinic supports children, adolescents, and adults across the neurodivergent spectrum, including those who are:
- Seeking an ADHD assessment for the first time
- Already diagnosed and looking for ongoing management or prescribing
- Exploring an autism diagnosis or seeking support after one
- Parents or carers wanting guidance about their child’s development
- Neurodivergent adults wanting a GP who understands sensory, executive function, and communication differences
Services we offer

Initial consultations and diagnosis
We provide structured initial consultations, for both children and adults, drawing on validated tools, detailed history-taking, collateral information, and where appropriate.

Care coordination and care navigation:
We understand that the process of getting a diagnosis and accessing the right support can be daunting and challenging. This is why we incorporate care coordination and navigation in what we do. We liaise with paediatricians, psychiatrists, or psychologists as well as allied health to provide timely and tailored care. We will walk you through every step, so you know what to expect.

Ongoing ADHD management and prescribing
For patients already diagnosed, we offer continuity of care including stimulant and non-stimulant medication review, repeat prescribing under shared-care arrangements, and regular monitoring of response, side effects, growth (in children) and cardiovascular health.

Autism support and referral
We assist with the diagnostic referral pathway for both children and adults, provide ongoing primary care that accommodates sensory and communication needs, and help you navigate NDIS, school supports, and allied health.

Mental health care plans for neurodivergent patients
Neurodivergent people experience anxiety, depression, and burnout at higher rates, often in ways that don’t fit the standard mould. We prepare GP Mental Health Treatment Plans (giving you access to Medicare-subsidised psychology sessions) tailored to neurodivergent presentations and connect you with psychologists experienced in this area.
What makes our clinic different
- Longer appointments when you need them. Neurodivergent care can’t be rushed. We book extended consultations for assessments and complex reviews.
- Sensory-aware environment. Our reception team is briefed on how to support patients who find waiting rooms overwhelming. Let us know your preferences when you book — quieter times, minimal small talk, or a brief wait in your car with a phone call when we’re ready.
- Plain communication. We explain things clearly, send written summaries where helpful, and welcome support people in the room.
- Holistic, joined-up care. As your regular GP service, we keep the whole picture — physical health, mental health, sleep, medication, family context — under one roof.
Billing
Consultations under the Neurodiversity Clinic are privately billed. A Medicare rebate applies to eligible consultations, leaving an out-of-pocket gap fee. Please contact reception on (02) 5110 3133 for current pricing or visit our pricing page.
Some assessment processes (for example, formal psychometric testing through external providers) may carry additional out-of-pocket costs. We will discuss all expected fees with you upfront so there are no surprises.

When booking your first appointment, please request a long consultation so we have time to listen properly.
For referrers
We welcome referrals from other GPs, paediatricians, psychologists, and allied health professionals. Please send referrals via secure messaging or fax to (02) 5110 3135. We aim to see new neurodiversity referrals within 2–4 weeks.
